Curragh Restaurants

As well as a large number of bars and fast-food or snack outlets, the Curragh Racecourse includes:

  • the Horseshoe Restaurant on the first floor of the grandstand, for fine dining in two sittings, at 12.00pm and 2.30pm
  • the Champagne Bar and Bistro, beside the parade ring, for fine dining and champagne
  • the informal Silks Self Service restaurant, serving hot meals and snacks, in the Tote Hall
  • Dan Donnelly’s Diner, for quality fast food and baguettes, in the West End Stand
  • a Weeping Thaiger outlet, which serves Thai food, Haagen Daz ice cream and coffees, in the Tote Hall

For the duration of the Irish Derby Festival, a restaurant package is available for €175 (including VAT) per person. The package includes a reserved table for the day and a four-course silver service lunch at the Horseshoe Restaurant, as well as a car parking pass, an admission badge and a racecard.

Each of the three packages includes a car parking pass and admission badge per guest, bucks fizz reception, four-course silver service lunch with complimentary wine, a full bar, afternoon tea, racecard, access to a tote betting facility and advice from a celebrity tipster.

The price shown for each package excludes VAT at 21%.

Image Derby Pavilion: €300 per person

The Champions Pavilion is a hospitality marquee constructed for the Irish Derby Festival, with table seating for up to 350 guests. It overlooks the finishing post, and the Irish Derby parade passes in front of it.

Private Suite for between 10 and 70 guests: €400 per person

The Curragh has eight glass-fronted panoramic suites, accommodating from 10 to 35 guests each. Some of the panoramic suites interconnect and can be joined to cater for up to either 60 or 70 guests. Each of the panoramic suites has a private balcony overlooking the finishing straight.

Derby Club Room: €250 per person

The Derby Club Room is a split-level room with views of the finishing straight and of the Curragh plains. It caters for up to 160 seated guests, with tables available for seating two, four, 10 or 12 people.
