(Photo by Jamie McDonald/Getty Images)It’s definitely a good idea to pre-book Irish Derby tickets - the huge popularity of the event means that tickets sell out fast.

The day of the Irish Derby is the only day when there are two enclosures at the Curragh Racecourse. The Reserved Enclosure provides access to the main grandstand, parade ring and champagne bar and minstrel seats are available. The West End Enclosure is a more basic viewing area, without access to the parade ring.

On all race days, Premier Level tickets give access to the reserved top floor of the grandstand.

Ticket prices for Irish Derby day (without applicable discounts for early online booking) are as follows:

  • West End Enclosure: €25
  • Reserved Enclosure: €50
  • Premier Level Access: €75
  • Premier Level Access with seating: €150
